So, we have a night, now we need a venue. I have some options on the table and would like your feedback please. Below is a multiple choice poll that has the options that I have come up with. As I do not like making decisions for people without their input, I would like you all to select the two venues that are your best fit.
Also, for this meeting, we are going to set a small writing assignment to get everyone back into the groove and break the ice. The assignment is as follows:
In 250 words or less, write a complete short story that deals with the following word: turtle
That’s it. I said it would be easy. You will be expected to entertain the group with a reading (performance if you wish) of your story.
Otherwise, if you have something that you would like to share with the group in order to get feedback, please, if you can, send around a copy of the work prior to the get together, or bring extra copies that can be written on/marked up, etc.
