Instructional Tech Talk has an interesting take on using digital questing as an educational medium and how augmented reality tools can break the learner out of the desk-chair-paper lockup.

This particular educational hack relies on a clever app called Aurasma to deliver questing content. Aurasma allows the educator to create trigger items that the app can visually recognize to unlock new content within the application.

The world outside of the monitor becomes an interaction medium, exposing new content and guiding the learner through their physical environment as part of the learning experience.
